Give Astrology a try – it’s totally worth it.

In reaction to my first post on Astrology, a follower named Hans on my blog’s Facebook page reacted irritated and told me that it doesn’t work in his oppinion.

I can’t blame him, because I was a skeptic for a long time, too. In reaction to his comments, let me share with you how I came in touch with Astrology and how it developed for me over the years.

First, my dear mother had a natal birth chart analysis done for me, when I was a young kid. I don’t remember that I read it back then, but I kept it in a folder for over 30 years. Some years ago, I came back to it again and found content that very much resonated with me.

So, I feel, you don’t have to understand why or how Astrology works. There are expert for that. But, you can simply have someone else create an analysis for you and then see, what rings true for you at that point in time.

And as I said, sometimes it can take years for you to find those hidden gems. An Astrologer recently told me, that a birth chart analysis can be a beautiful companion over the course of your life. And that it’s only natural – just like it is with books – that one only takes a couple of insights away each now and then.

To give you an example: I recently had an analysis done for me which was around 20 pages long. At this point in time, I mainly took away three important lines that showed me something that I found very helpful. And I will get back to the report at another point in time in the future to find out more.

What I want to say by that is, that you don’t have to start out big. Go with whatever feels right to you, but please 🙏😇 … just be open that there might be some value in it, even if you can’t see it right away.

Regarding good astrologers. Here comes a list of ones that I find useful. You can have a look at their websites and pick the one who feels right for you at the moment.

So here’s the list. English ones first:

    And now the German ones:

  • The richness and caveat of Pisces

The richness and caveat of Pisces

Okay, so this is gonna be my first publich dip into Astrology. If you are not a fan, bare with me and let me tell you – there’s more to it than meets the eye. Even the 12 sun sign distinction can give you some insight into what’s happening in your life and what your character is about.

But take it easy, give it a try if you want to, otherwise simply move on. In earlier years I had my share of reservations against Astrology (in particular the seemingly simplistic) sun sign system as well. So I understand if you shake your head in disbelief 😉

For a start, I am gonna keep this simple. If you find this foray interesting, just let me know. Then I’ll see when I can come up with some new ideas and insights.

So what I was pondering about is the complexity of my sun sign Pisces. I was scrolling through the weekly sun sign forecast and even if the lines about Pisces resonated deeply with me – I also found myself in some aspects of the other signs (rather more than I would like to to be honest, being Pisces seems challenging).

I previously heard about the notion that we as a soul and human being – over multiple reincarnations – want to find out how it is like to be each specific sun sign. And that in culmination we then incarnate as Pisces. I don’t know whether this is true, but I can’t deny the feeling that there is something about this …

So, considering this idea, when we finally incarnate as Pisces, our essence already carries all the qualities of the previous sun signs (Pisces is the 12th and final sign in the Zodiac). These combined qualities might be more subtle, but they are present.

A quick check on Google brought me this page, where it says

The last sign of the zodiac has a universal element about it. It is the culmination of all the signs and it is something more than the sum of it’s parts.

    Edward Cannell

So I am not the only one who has this feeling. And let me tell you, “more than the sum of it’s parts” is exactly what I feel right now. It’s not 100% but a lot more .. and this is sometimes hard to handle. What I mean to say is, I don’t think Pisces is superior to the other sun signs. It’s just different – with its share of up- and downsides, quite a challenge in my opinion.

Do you feel the same? What are your thoughts about sun signs or Astrology in general? As always, I’d love to hear from you, if you are brave enough to share your experiences and thoughts. 🙂 I won’t bite … I promise.

Take care and goodbye for now, Sebastian
